Michael Jackson Was The Greatest: Long Live The King by Ryan Best

Michael Jackson was a man that you didn't have to know in order to feel close to him. Many people around the world shared these same thoughts. There was just something magical about him that touched the souls of everybody that listened to him and watched him perform. You could say it was close to a touch of God. Not comparing him to the higher power, but his presence was like no other, There will never be anything like it again. People that grew up a fan honestly felt that they lost a part of them when he died. It was a sad day.

There is no other singer/person that had the world grieve for them like he did. Grown men cried over his death, people took their lives after he left this earth. The things he did in his lifetime will never be touched. It's sad how people tried to slander his name his whole career, but really never succeeded. Was it because they were jealous that a man could have that much power? Was it because he was black? Was it because they couldn't have what he did? The answer will probably never be found.

Michael Jackson's career spoke words that can't be explained. Just his presence on stage had massive amounts of people crying and fainting. That's unheard of. No matter how old he got, people still bought his music. No matter what color or ethnicity you were people still played and danced to his songs. He was a man of great talent. As far as his appearance, he had a reason for that. He basically had skin cancer, and people talk about him as if he wanted to be a white man.

Things people try to do and say about Michael Jackson just don't make sense. There is truly hate in people's blood. His songs not only had tunes that people today still dance to as if they were new, but they had messages. A lot of his songs were based on war topics, racial topics, and personal motivation. For example two songs you might want to listen to are "Man In The Mirror", and "Black or White."

He was a simple man that just wanted to live. He didn't grow up like the rest of the world. So how can people judge him. His childhood was like no other, but yet he was criticized on a continuous basis. The funny thing is, after all the bad talk about him he still overcame everything. He didn't lose fans, he only gained them. His death marked a period in history that will never be forgotten. He left such a legacy that I can even see on day being named after him in his honor.

All for a singer you say? No, he was much more than that. He gave people hope. He gave people a chance by paving the way in the music industry. He connected with all people around the world like no other person did. He gave to more charities than any person ever has. He was passionate about everything he did. People can say what they want about him but it won't change what he's done. Rumors usually end a person's career; his career never ended and never will. He flourishes even when he's not on earth. I just want to personally say goodbye Michael. You will truly be missed. You touched more people than you'll ever know. It was too soon for us to see you leave, but the lord believed that you did everything you could've done. It was time for you to be in a better place. "Long Live The King."
